The Colorado Silver Boom started in 1879 and was monumental in the development of this area of the Rockies. The Silver Retreat is designed to bring you back to that period in time with its curved metal bed, antique dresser, nightstands, and rocking chair. The unique coffee bar is made from an old door and fits perfectly into this main floor room. The comfortable loveseat hides a pull-out bed, which provides sleeping accommodations for three. The love seat is positioned to take advantage of the beautiful mountain valley view and the electric fireplace. Above the loveseat is an original map of the silver mining claims in the area.
Located on the main floor of the lodge, this room is accessible without climbing stairs. Because the Silver Retreat is situated next to the great room, kitchen, game room, and deck, it makes a wonderful place for a family vacation. If two rooms are needed for additional lodging, the Silver and Gold rooms can be booked together; they are the only two rooms in this part of the lodge, so you will have extra privacy and space. The Silver Retreat is just steps away from the expansive deck with treetop views of the mountain valley.
The period décor continues into the bathroom with its creamy white walls and black and white hexagon tile floor. The black granite countertop and marbled shower walls make a perfect backdrop for the silver fixtures.
